Alvin Toffler once said and I quote: "The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn."
John Locke was of the opinion that every human being at birth has an empty mind.
Locke then believes what constitute human orientation is what he LEARNS from the society.
This portrays us as ignorant people whose orientation depends solely on LEARNING for illumination.

Not everything learnt is worth been learnt. Not everything learnt today will be relevant tomorrow, maybe as a result of innovation and new ideas. You have to do away with them. You have to UNLEARN them.

We humans have the ability to forget things we have learnt. Meanwhile many of these things learnt are so essential that they form the basis of our existence and growth.
We have to learn, and RELEARN them.
